Hi friends. I'm a US citizen, my parents are not. They live in Mexico and I pay well over 80% of their expenses. Can I claim them as dependents for tax purposes? If so how do I go about it?

Yes, you can claim a dependent if they are a US citizen, US national, US resident alien, or a resident of Mexico or Canada.

they do not, they've lived in Mexico all their lives... I'm not sure they're eligible for an ITIN?
