we tried that as well. she is so high up it was impossible to get the rope up on a branch even going off the ladder. there's two smaller trees right next to it and the rope kept getting caught in the branches

O shit I have one of those super long tall poles with a rope already attached- it's used to cut trees... I saw this on FB NE philly advocats I'll check there...
