Then people would probably be confused because it doesn't offer the same services. Short term rentals are not a new concept, don't get the pushback.

Lots of international guests come through that makes it logical for Chinatown for short-term rentals

Stuff like this has been common on the West Coast for a while; everything except your bathroom and bedroom is shared. They aren't really meant for people to live in them full time; they are meant for people to purchase them and rent them out on Airbnb.

So yeah, it's a hotel.

Individuals will not purchase these units. The company that owns the building rents them out. It's targeted at temporarily relocated or visiting corporate workers.
