Then stay away. We don’t want you here. Find a team to root for in Delco. Philly teams are off limits to you. Go post on the Delco Reddit.

So still suburbs. Good parks in the city proper?

You're not a smart one, eh?

Not even remotely. I have a really hard time, especially with recognizing urbanization and city planning.

Also really struggle with the definition of 'inner city', you know, from an access to public resources and population density standpoint

WhollyOwl t1_itj1wco wrote

Haha, so defensive.

Don't get me wrong, the wiss is an excellent resource to have if you can access it easily. But the assertion that it's representative of how Philly does green space? That's pushing the envelope a little far

For the sake of EVERYONE'S safety I think it best most avoid this area aside from a select few (me, for instance) to patrol and look over this particularly grimy part of Philly. 👀

Just don’t leave anything visible in your car in the parking lot.

TimeFourChanges OP t1_ithq2tg wrote

We don't start there. We go to the trailhead off Green, where you park on the street.

12

navazuals t1_itht0a2 wrote

Wouldn’t leave anything in my car there either. The last 3 times I’ve been to the wiss, I came back to cars parked near or next to me with smashed windows.

kopik01 t1_ithw0tu wrote

yeah any time i’ve been to any parking lot around there i’ve seen shattered glass on the ground in multiple spots and a couple cars with missing windows.

MeEvilBob t1_ithv3u2 wrote

And don't plan on the foot bridge ever existing again. Chestnut Hill probably scared off the contractor so there would be a barrier on the trail between them and Philly.
