I just went to LA for the first time the other week and coming back here really made me appreciate Philly’s gorgeous and truly urban architecture. Other cities just don’t all do the bricks the way we do

I'm in the early stages of moving from NYC to South Philly. I am utterly blown away by how clean and well kept everything is in South Philly compared to what I am used to. I feel like I am in Canada or Europe. I didn't think such clean and well cared for urban neighborhoods still existed in the US. You can walk from Passyunk to Rittenhouse Square and not see hardly any graffiti and smell no urine at all.
Philadelphia completely underrated, it is a national treasure.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard someone call south Philly clean. Every part of this area except maybe the bougie parts of Passyunk is covered in street trash and grime. Mainly imo bc there are no public trash cans so everyone just throws their stuff on the ground.

Yeah, I didn't need to read past the first sentence to know you're moving to Passyunk lmao. It's an awesome area though, welcome to Philly!
