This is the game they want to play. "He's shitty but DON'T impeach him!"

"It was not immediately clear how, or if, the committee’s report might influence any decision by lawmakers on when or whether they might seek to impeach Krasner. Lawrence said the committee would continue its investigation and prepare a final report before the end of the legislative session that will include recommendations."

Its just a report to report how the investigation is going. The final report will carry a recommendation.

Also the Inquirer is trash which uses click bait headlines and quotes itself basically.

"Instead, the 63-page report takes aim at aspects of Krasner’s tenure, highlighting issues including a declining conviction rate, an increasing number of firearms cases being withdrawn or dismissed, and high staff turnover, seeking to link those issues and others to the city’s ongoing gun violence crisis."

Pretty normal stuff

Inquirer baiting you into a rage.

First 3 paragraphs explains it.

The whole point of this bullshit exercise was for all the endangered Republicans to go back to their white suburban/rural districts and say look at our great accomplishments! we're impeaching that bad man in Philadelphia!, and now they're not even doing that.

What a pathetic excuse for a legislative body.

Now Kenny is crying foul, no funding for juvenile incarnation. Kenny now has decided to sue the state. No offense but the timing sucks. The rest of the state's favorite topic is how they are forced to support Philadelphia and Pittsburg through their taxes. You are kidding yourselves if you don't think this is giving more credence to the conservative right candidates in the state.

Bad timing Jim K.

they probably will still, this report is just saying they have yet to find a legal basis for doing so. I don't think "but that's illegal!" has stopped any republican politician in the last 5 years.
