If you’re a legit fan of the first Rocky, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re a so so fan of the series, skip it

I know someone who saw it.
I texted them:
"How was the musical? Was it a comedy? Was it serious? Was it really, really, really stupid? Did you fall asleep?"

Their response was: "I wish I could have falled asleep. Forever. And never woke up to remember that piece of shit musical".

Late to this: I saw it and enjoyed it a lot. It's not going to win any Tonys, but its fun.

If you like the movie, you'll enjoy the show. If you don't like or care about the movie, I'd skip it.
