Hi all, our dog was with a Rover sitter this weekend and has run away. She is a 2 year old German shorthaired pointer. We can track her via AirTags on her collar but the sitter is having trouble getting her back on the leash. She is currently roaming around Woodland Ave between 60th and 63rd.
Please let me know if you see her. She is very mild mannered but might be scared. Anyone willing to try to leash her would be an amazing help.
We are flying back to the city this evening.
Her name is Mia and should respond to it.

See if the sitter can trick Mia to get into their car, “To go see _____”. That’s how I catch my labradoodle.

Update throughout the day? My wife and I are coming back through that way around 5 and will definitely keep an eye open.

UPDATE: She has been found. After a 10 hr adventure, our friend found her in a parking lot behind a liquor store. Thank you to everyone for your eyes and kind words. I’ll leave this message here for a few hours and then delete the post to avoid further worry.
