It really just depends on the venue, the bouncer, how old you are, the vibe of the place, your demeanor, etc.

You don't need an ID to drink in PA, however most places require one just to cover their own asses. Bring any back up IDs you may have like a school ID or something. Won't work the majority of the time, but can be the deciding factor.
