Was thinking about this yesterday after watching someone throw fast food trash out their car window in the general direction of someone walking their dog on Poplar: the amount of littering and dumping that happens in this city makes me think we're forever fucked.

Until our neighbors decide to care about the community/place they live in enough to properly dispose of their garbage, there's no chance our city will ever change for the better. If people can't even consider how littering and dumping might affect others, they absolutely aren't giving a shit about anyone else's safety, health, well-being, experience on this earth, etc.
