Best place to get out of state car registered

Just got my PA license, looking for an affordable place to get my car registered. Called one place and it was $360 for tags and inspection. Seems expensive. It’s foreign to me that private companies register and inspect the cars. Anyone know a place that’s cheaper. This was in West Philly

If you have a AAA membership, or even know someone that does, I'd go to one of their offices and have them do it. That worked for us.

the best place to get it registered is to drive to the DMV head quarters in Harrisburg. they're the opposite of any DMV experience I have ever had. I have been there a lot, they can print titles on site, give you plates, everything, and they're helpful, knowledgeable and courteous..

Just drive out there, then you don't pay any overhead.

Eseentially the auto tags places are just sending those forms in electronically anyways.
