Best pizza spot is right outside the city in Delco called Emilio's. Make sure to order the pizza well done with extra sauce, and you're welcome.

Santucci's is consistently fantastic. It's not a super popular opinion I guess because it's not thin crust, there's nothing particularly 'cool' about it, I don't know if it's the 'best' but it's always great.

We like Pizzeria Vetri; it's expensive so it's more of a treat that a slice for lunch for us.

Santuccis, Pizza Jawn, Pizza Schackamaxon, Pizzeria Beddia, Angelos, Tacconellis to name a few. My absolute favorite pizza is just outside of the city in Bristol at an Italian restaurant called Cesares. There Old Fashioned Tomatoe Pie is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life and I will die on that hill.

So you never had it?

Not to be an asshole, but you can't talk about a food you haven't had.

The reason for well done is because it makes it extra crispy, which I think makes for a good pie, and their sauce is delicious so it's worth getting extra.

Has to be Gary's Pies and Pancakes on Snyder Ave. It's the only place you can get an authentic Philly Pancake Pizza and they serve it ALL DAY. Ask for the Schuylkill syrup- yes it's a game changer.

Lol ok so when someone says get a cheeststeak with fried onion you must know the cheesesteak actually sucks because why add onions.

Or when someone tells you to get the filet and get it rare you must know it's a bad cut of beef because why specify the way its cooked?

I'm literally saying add extra sauce and make the pizza crispy, which is the same as adding a condiment or what temp to cook your steak at.

Angelo's is the clear #1. Paulie Gee's is a close second. After that, any of the following: Pizza Brain, Shackamaxon, Hook & Master, The Angelo, Beddia, Down North, Emmy Squared, and Santucci's are all great.

Rosario's or Chiquita's for very different, but still fantastic Mexican pies.

Literally eating Chiquita’s as I type this. Their huitlacoche pie is banging. Had the Al Pastor from San Lucas the other day. That one’s good too.

Edit: adding Nomad off of South St to the mix.

Pizza Shackmaxon is good pizza, though the entire process/joke it is to get pizza from there just isnt worth it.

Also insanely overprized. 4 Bucks a slice and 22 a pie.

I know city prizes but basically doubling the price compared to places outside the city.
