Had enough people trying to get rid of the homeless and profit from "relocating" them for the past 20 years. Also the demolition of Philly and commercialization is only going to continue to raise prices for people who 1) have lived here and are becoming unable to afford it and 2) romanticized the idea that living here is cheaper than NY, not realizing they're only serving to raise the cost of living to match it.

We don't need new housing, we don't need supermarkets. We need parking, we need to take care of the people who currently live here.

Edit: accidentally a word

People don't like to have to see what they're doing to the poors.

While I mostly agree with you, I do think we need more supermarkets. Center City might not need supermarkets, but there are definitely neighborhoods in North Philly whose only sources of food are the local corner store. You talk about caring for the people who currently live here—well part of that is making sure the people have access to fresh food.

Before you put a cafe in every corner maybe figure out some new programs for drug rehabilitation and housing for the homeless?

People wanting to renovate Philly do not care about the poor. The sooner they die out, the sooner they can be replaced with people who can afford the ever-rising cost of living.

Is that all they have to do? Just make Kensington the new Paris, lol.

Paris is beautiful because it’s old .. guess you’ve never been there

Many really good people live in Kensington and suffer because present policies are not helping their area

Area hospitals should create a fund to build a huge medical campus dedicated to drug rehabilitation and homless shelters, counseling education...etc. getting them off of drugs without hope of a future is a waste of time.
