I’m near Washington Sq West and looking for either a house call vet or a fear-free, cat-friendly vet in the area. Looking for someone who is good with handling a fearful/aggressive kitty. Ty!

City cat vets ! Hands down. I saw Dr. Knighton but I think they’re all amazing.

Do not go to Pet Health Center in Port Richmond if you want a cat to return home. Took the cat in for a routine visit, supposedly cat somehow run up a 5-8 foot vertical stainless steel duct and made it through a spinning fan to escape to the outside world. Or so says the vet, I suspect the cat died somehow and was vet was the cause. We still have a vm recording from a worker there saying the cat did not run away. We should have sued them out of business, maybe still could…

Omg I’m so sorry, that’s terrible and that story is absurd. I’m so angry and sad for you!

City cat vet! Make sure to tell them about your kitty’s reaction before you appointment!

If they can prescribe Gabapentin before the appointment that usually does the trick! She’s still a spicy burrito but at least no one’s life is in danger.

Art City Vets has been great for my 2 cats. Their practice is up by the art museum.

Another vote for City Cat Vets on South St! When they saw my nervous cat recently, she stayed nervous but the vet tech fed her 3 churus during the exam and she put up with it quietly.
