Hello I need some advise I want to take the Amtrak from PHL International airport to Lancaster but the app only shows the station in the city. As I understand there’s an Amtrak station at the airport. Can I not use that route? Please let me know if anyone used this service. How did you do it? Thanks

There is regional rail (Septa) at the airport. You take it to 30th and then can get on Amtrak.

There is no Amtrak stop at the airport. You can take the regional rail to 30th street where you can catch Amtrak. There’s a drop south of the city but you’ll still have to change trains at 30th street to get to Lancaster.

Septa has a station that the airport but Amtrak doesn’t go there. You’ll have to take Amtrak to 30th Street, then transfer to the Septa airport line.

Thanks for the replies. Taking an Uber to the Amtrak station would make this less painful?

Probably not Uber will be much more expensive and likely take longer unless you hit miracle traffic. Hop on the SEPTA train (ticket at the kiosks) get off at 30th and away you go.

Lancaster airport is a bit outside of the town where the train station is, not sure how reliable Uber is out there.
