It would be cool for my kids to experience something like the blizzard of 93 and 96. The ice storms of those same years.

At a certain point, I just started pretending I lived in Alaska and my existence was based on shoveling snow and nothing else.

It was on my birthday, we got the week off my senior year. Was so glad I bought an ounce of weed that weekend lol

Those back to back storms were nuts. I lived on a super tiny side street that didn't get plowed for over a week. Had to pay the neighborhood kids to help shovel us out. It sounds like I'm bitching, but I actually remember it very fondly.

Now a days a lot of us will still log on to work from home, so we won't get quite as great experience, but it would be fantastic nevertheless.

Yep, schools will just go on a Remote Learning day when it snows now.

Shhhhh….you shut your mouth 😳 (I’m kidding, of course)

My job is in a hospital, and these damn storms are nightmares to us, we usually have to stay in the hospital for days on end to make sure the patients get care….

Blizzard, OK. Ice storms? Please no. They make a goddamn mess out here in the burbs. Trees down everywhere.
