I heard what they said and then looked it up myself! I think some commenters missed the “so I took a peak when I got home”.

Good call.

Over the years I've found that a lot of weather forecasts are not particularly accurate (especially for real time, especially the one on iOS, which is being replaced next year or so by the one I linked above), and a lot of TV weather people keep hyping it up to the point where you want to run to get bread and milk every time their face comes on.
