Just keep a list of them and their locations. When the birds win the Super Bowl offer them up as good victory flipping vehicles. People usually focus on flipping cars parked illegally, but flipping an abandoned vehicle has got to be almost as fun.

You're probably fucked on the cops doing anything before July (and probably more like next fall) on the Camry - they generally don't touch cars with valid registration/inspection, even if the plate's a bit jacked up. They might move a little faster on the temp tag Kia, but even that's no guarantee - I saw a car sit on Carlisle for months past its expiration, and it only got towed because it got heavily vandalized.

The funny thing is all of the Kia’s tires are flat so you would think they’d want to pick that up. 6 months later it’s still here.

Edit: there’s also that suv that’s been abandoned for a year at tasker and front. I haven’t even bothered reporting it.

cops wont do anything. had someoe leave their car in front of my house sitting on top of it's own tire and the cops came looked at it and said it was perfectly fine sitting there. meh. so i got a permit from l&i for a dumpster and was gonna force them to tow it. the guy came and frantically fixed his car and moved it at midnight before my permit date haha.

If you have a rolling floor-jack you can do the slightly unethical thing and jack it up and carefully pull one end of the car into the street. It gets taken care of quickly when it’s left jutting into the traffic lane

Not advocating you actually do this, but I know it works

Email your councilmember's office. Try to fnd out if you have a local ward committeeperson and reach out to them too. Not sure how to find out who that is unfortunately, but you could probably ask your local state rep's office to put you in touch.

They never reply but I’ll look into the local ward committee person. There’s abandoned construction around here too.
