Please, I use a mobility device and it’s next to impossible to get anywhere in my neighborhood after 6pm. I actually had a person on Facebook suggest ppl in mobility devices shouldn’t be out after dark. That’s how insanely obsessed with cars ppl in this city can be. They think they are owed the streets, the bike lanes and sidewalks. This is also unsafe for everyone, including drivers.

I feel for you. It makes me really angry that this isn't an issue that is taken seriously by anyone with authority

The city just lost an ADA lawsuit over the state of the sidewalks. Perhaps reach out or the same group who one that lawsuit about the non enforcement of curb cuts still being a violation of the ADA.

Absolutely! As a driver I know that I psychologically stop where the cars stop. This is why cars are supposed to be 15' from the corner.

In the above scenario, it's far too easy to think the stop sign is past the cars which would put you in the crosswalk/intersection.
