I like adopting cats from a foster affiliated with a rescue. Usually the person fostering can give you some good insight into the cat’s personality. My most recent cat came from ACCT but I’ve also adopted from Forgotten Cats. Being in a shelter is stressful so you may not have a good indication of what a cat is like at home. I have a dog and kids so need to make sure it’s a good match!
