Yakitori Boy is where it's at. Google can answer the rest of your questions.

I have heard of Yakitori Boy, and could find everything except the song selection, do you know where I can find that?

They have a MASSIVE book of available options. Had a work party there recently and we asked for available options. They eventually sent us two huge spreadsheets of all their options. Maybe call and see if they can share it? Regardless, they cover a lot of genres/artists/generations.

Depends on group size and stuff. As many recommended, Yakitori is a good spot with Japanese-fusion food. Ken’s Seafood is an ok option with alright food, BUT BYOB. Tango is another option, but a lot of the younger crowd goes there, that’s where I went last month.

If pricing and food isn’t an issue, Lair/Sky KTV is a bit more of a premium karaoke experience, they also offer an “underground styled” big group karaoke space. All these places have up to date songs from the Billboards tops, from the last time I visited.

Second for LairKTV. It's a little pricey, but it's a nice spot and the owner is cool af.

How are the song collections there. Is it mostly just singles? Are the music videos the OG ones or some random clips

For all the places I have listed, they are singles, categorized by the respective artist, not album. Any new songs available will have their official video. Songs from the 90’s into about 05’ are a mixed bag, with few being covers with random clips.

I know Ken’s and Lair/Sky KTV has an updated system that allows you to stream straight from YouTube also.

If minors are involved (and even if not), Songbird in Collingwood is a nice option.

For me it depends a lot on how many people you will have. For bigger groups I’d recommend Fuji Mountain or Duba, for a smaller group either of those or Yakitori Boy.

Fuji Mountain: The most spacious private rooms in the city, decent food, strong drinks. We’ve had several parties here, it’s probably my first choice.

Yakitori Boy: The best food, SO good. Room was extremely tight, though. Can’t speak to the drinks as I was driving that night.

Lair/KTLA: Food was fine, drinks were fine, room was small, awkwardly shaped, and just not great. My least favorite, probably would not go back

Duba: This place is actually in Elkins Park, but it’s really great. The food is excellent, the cocktails are strong and really good! Even the smaller rooms are still comfortable, and their biggest room is really spacious!

All of them seemed to have pretty comprehensive song lists, I can’t really say that any of them was better or worse than the others in that regard.
