No photoshop, but salt lamps can be dangerous to cats because they like to lick them (sodium poisoning). So be vigilant if your cat hangs out by it a lot.

I have a salt lamp that's currently in a decorative cage because my cat wanted to lick it. Still works fine, and looks okay.
