i've actually met the guy, he's legitimately an awesome person. he has his fingers in so many charities and pet-rescue type organizations, it's actually incredible that it's kept so lowkey - which usually means it's even from a better place than those who want to take in the adulation and good-will.

so i apologize for bringing Al Charlie Brown Roker nightmare fuel to your life, but hopefully this can abate your 'Normal Al Roker' fears
