No, you tap it to draw two cards, and then play Pot of Greed to draw two more cards!

You get way more mana if you pick all the petals

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding this exact variation.

Not sure the exact cultivar - there's a bunch of double flowered black ones, particularly from the 'Onyx' series.

Note that this is an old flower, with all the stamens having dropped off.

Artist proof. TECHNICALLY not a legal card, but it's just lacking the back and it was both signed and owned by Christopher Rush himself, so... if he wants to play it in Vintage, NO ONE is going to say "no".

I think actual Lotuses top out at 600k-750k

I sold all my dual lands in like 1998 for weed money, haha

I think I got like $10 a pop, which was enough for a few eighths.

At the time, you spent your money on something you enjoyed and what those were worth at that time. So time/money spent on something you enjoyed at that time is definitely no loss. Time/money spent on anything you enjoy to you is special and in no way a waste lol!

You need those for flasks in classic World of Warcraft. That's lots of gold right there!

Damn that’s beautiful. And the perfect image of the number 1 MTG card of all time and the holy grail herself, Black Lotus.
