I used to find bones at the playground in the gravel a lot. Do they still have the sandy gravel playgrounds? I wonder why there are bones in it

My now 30 year old son would spend his recesses looking for fossils in the gravel used on the playground. I think we still have some of his funds in a box.

We do live on the coast all our sidewalks and driveways have teeth in them also
