Totally! In reality, I just grew up a poor kid in the PNW in the 1990's!

Grandmas are down for anything. Young people, you need to cherish your grandmas more while you still can.

I am lucky because I met two of my great grandmas. Now, at 36, three of my grandmas are still alive (all of my grandparents divorced and remarried at least once). Not only that, but this Grandma, Evy, could definitely out-run me. She is a badass.

Long neck be long
Pretty stylish, though

I really don't have that long of a neck, but the necklaces and youth sure make it look like I do!

Could be... my grandma was married to a fairly wealthy dentist a long, long time ago. He was an abusive asshole and in the divorce, she ended up with a fair amount of money, the house, and all the stuff he would buy her (instead of being any sort of good person/husband/step-dad). She hated the stuff, never wore it, but couldn't get rid of it for some reason. So, we ended up dressing-up in mink, pearls, and other crazy shit. Like I mentioned above, I was actually just a regular, actually kind of poor, 1990's PNW kid. Just a weird little side of my life!

That's a fabulous pic. Def should be framed & displayed. Grandma had some great dress-up stuff!

It is! It's blown up big and framed and matted by my Grandma. She and my Grandpa are both amazing photographers and world travelers. There are big, framed pictures of each of the 5 Grandkids in her house, all of which she took and framed herself. This version is a picture of a small photo.

It looks like we're about the same age. If I send my number would you have your sister call please. I'd like to buy her coffee - or a house.

Dude, really? Why do you have to make a nice thread like this, about a picture of children, weird? Think before you post. Don't be a creep.

A bit sensitive are are we? Your sister, I'm guessing, is now about 40. Ask her if she's offended.

Gorgeous. I wonder if 100 years from now, people will find this photo and think it is the traditional dress for children of the era.
