Thats what i was going to say….. person was probably like” i dont get paid enough to report this”

There are criminal empires that use construction companies as a front. It'd make sense for hitmen to dump bodies in an active excavation site.

No backstory. It was dismissed pretty quickly. Probably by people who are in power idk.

We build alot on drilled pier foundations around here. Dumping a body down a 24" dia hole going down to bedrock, which you're about to fill with concrete, seems pretty foolproof

Without much context, that sure looks like a 'foul play' ending. The skeleton sure looks real. Man, so much of this scene looks like a quick and dirty burial. Any info on where/when this was?

Right now provide source or we think you made it up after finding a random pic online.

This is a very funny comment. Like, obviously this is just some repost, but if it was a legitimate image what backstory would you be asking for lol the story is in the title, they dug up the ground to expose the utilities and found a skeleton.
Myrnalinbd t1_jdr7f9g wrote
Google Reverse tells me it is from 2015.
The body is old, like hundreds of years old.
Bonus info: This poor medieval gentleman or lady who about thirty years ago saw his pelvis removed cleanly from the laying of a telephone cable
Myrnalinbd t1_jdr7r0o wrote
Not necessarily if the hole for the 2 pipes was dug to only house the 2 pipes the legs and torso would not have been shown, and any tool used to dig the trench would only have shown parts of bone at the sides (since the middle has been scouped out)
Myrnalinbd t1_jdr7zau wrote
You are full of it, the body was exhumed and now preserved.

Looks like you were right... It was a skeleton from the middle ages found in Piazzetta San Michele (Volterra, Pisa) Italy, ~7 years ago:
(Google Translated Italian ->English): Meanwhile, the skeleton has been removed and prepared for restoration and placement in some deposit for possible further study. The havoc committed a few years ago by some more or less high-level managers who in the construction site of Piazzetta San Michele, despite the evidence, preferred to go on with their work without informing any competent authority of the presence of an ancient skeleton in the place remains where works for the underground services were carried out.

“Exposing utilities” sounds like a euphemism

And the paradox is:
The one who laid the pipe is the one who's pictured.
