Winner winner also chicken dinner.I worked at a Knights a Columbus fish fry, especially during Lent. Talk about absolute craziness but they were good times. I was in Chicagoland, so pretty much Milwaukee as well. Atlantic cod with vinegar coleslaw and a big slice of bread from the local bakery.

I'm 45 years old and till this day if I am ever back in my Hometown on a Friday or Saturday, I am stopping off there to eat one of my best friends' Mom's coleslaw. She managed the KoC I worked at with him. Took me over twenty years to get the recipe from them.

Yes.

This one was run by the KoC at the nearby Catholic church.

They do it on Fridays during Lent.

I'm not remotely Catholic, but fish sounded great.
