John simply does not get enough recognition for his role in Spun (2002)!

squid1891 OP t1_iue1u6n wrote

I also feel that way about his role as Tybalt in "Romeo + Juliet". When I bought up Tybalt; he smiled and said he had a lot of fun playing him.

Violator was peak Leguizamo

Followed closely by Luigi Mario

but really, he's pretty good at whatever character he's playing.

That movie really took me by surprise. I didn't know those two could put that much genuine emotion into a movie. I'd only seen them as comic actors.

Hijacking top to say his Netflix show is incredible. For someone with a certain reputation, John Leguizamo has amazing range, pathos, and heart, and he puts on one hell of a show. I remember watching some HBO show of his maybe 10 years ago and being blown away. Guy is seriously talented at one-man stage shows.

Bill Lumbergh from Office Space. Oddly enough I had others thinking I was J. Jonah Jameson, despite not having a moustache, and even one guy who thought I was Patrick Bateman.

Understandable that Office Space is not front of mind in 2022 as it came out more than 20 years ago. However, I’d highly recommend it if you work in an office or even if you don’t and just like watching people being tortured.
