As far as actual functioning mills, I was told there are only a handful that actually still mill items like chalk pigments and wood. If that's not the case I'm happy to stand corrected.

There are still 1,048 windmills and 108 watermills in the Netherlands. Many of these are still regularly used by volunteer millers for grinding grain.

They had one specifically for grinding snuff (powdered tobacco) until recently, and there is still one that exclusively grinds paint.

what op means is these are some of the last mills that still turn for a pupose, grind stuf or move water, etc.
we still have bunch that spin, but those are more decorative.
