Another song about a stalker, or at least desperate/futile/unrequited love: Cake’s “The Distance.” There’s one guy still on the track, driving and striving as fast as he can, thinking of someone for whom he still burns…she’s hoping in time that her memories will fade…

EDIT - okay, to everyone downvoting me, what’s the song actually about then? It isn’t just about a race, it’s absolutely a metaphor, but for what?

This is more Big Brother than stalkery, I’d say.

But I’m 100% with you on the “women/POCs/disabled folks/other groups were clearly not in the room” game. Same with manels (all-male panels).
