So I'm in contract to buy a house and I have a rental to move from. I'd be moving from Mount Oliver to Penn Hills,The only issue is the front door is up stairs and the back is in an alleyway that's tight when neighbors park in it. Two Men and a Truck said no to the alleyway so I'm looking for some other suggestions for local moving companies.
My friends and I also don't feel comfortable driving a huge UHAUL in the neighborhood, hence the mover.

I used Make Moves LLC, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I had a VERY narrow staircase at my old apartment, and the driveway was on a narrow side street with a tight corner. They navigated it so well. They also had the cheapest estimate. They were very fast. I found out about them by asking on this Reddit page!

That's really good to know thank you so much. It's just such a pain with how Pittsburgh is set up some days to navigate stuff like this.

I would definitely recommend checking with 2 Men Labor. They did at great job at a extremely reasonable price for me--planning to hire them again in a couple of months to move back in after a reno. Call/text Moses at (412) 819-7927‬.

I've had good luck with South Hills Movers. Both on a very narrow street (but not alley way) and with a 'down the street move' where they had to carry everything about 100 yards from one house to another.

I'd be worried about a Pittsburgh moving business that can't handle alleyways or steps. Most of this city is narrow, steep, or both

Not sure about your specific requirements, but we had a good experience w/ friendly movers. our old house had two flights of stairs inside, and 5 stairs from the front door down to street level, and it didn't come up as an issue.

All ways moving did a great job with my move. I moved from a 3rd floor apartment (no elevator, narrow winding stairs) to a house with a steep driveway and then a flight of stairs into the house. They were super fast, faster than quoted. I paid up front and they ended up refunding me a couple hundred dollars since they were so far ahead of schedule!

King movers was the company that I used and I lived in an alley way in Mount Washington. They were affordable and moved us very quickly into our home!
