Thank you very much, my aunt said AAA renewed state id's so they could probably issue me one. What all do I need for a state id out of curiosity? I know birth certificate and social security card but anything else?

Only certain centers do real id in person while you wait (ie walk out.with.a real id). I'm pretty sure the ones in AAA don't.

My aunt thought AAA did state id's and there's a AAA closer to me than a DMV. But since I now know AAA doesn't do state id's I have to go to the dmv

If you're young enough, PA might have all the data required for real ID on file already. I'd check out PennDOT's site. They should have all the information you need on it and may even discuss if messenger services (i.e. AAA) can assist in any part.
