Same thing really but the real id has supposedly better verification as to you being who you say you are.

Piece of mail with your current address or your vehicle registration if you have it.

Just those 3 things? Do I need to send it to the dmv by mail or just bring those in with me? Also I've read that I have to fill out some sort of form and have Google doesn't give me a clear answer if I have to print it, fill it out, and bring it with me or if they'll give me said form at the dmv
