So did CMU - "URGENT CMU Alert: There is a large police presence at Central Catholic High School, next door to CMU residential buildings. Please avoid the area.

Update: Pitt has ended its lockdown, students are able to leave buildings now. It seems it was indeed a hoax, or series of hoaxes across the state
