Hey all, I've lived outside the 'Burgh for 13 years, and have been unable to find a reliable source for Pens and Steelers games. I've tried crackstreams and NFLBite but they both seem defunct. Today I tried NORDVPN and VPN Express with Sling TV but can't find a VPN server in Pgh (closest is Buffalo, DC, or NYC).

Does anybody have any advice?? I've been struggling with this since 2009 and it makes me hate the NFL, NHL, and major TV channels.

So today I guess I'll just keep watching the Vikings and hope they win (since I think everyone should have an AFC and NFC team to root for)

Edit: Thanks for the responses guys. I always describe growing up in PGH as being in the type of place that you could be walking down the street and meet a stranger who you'd talk to for an hour and swap life stories. It's a crazy "instant sense of community" that I haven't seen anywhere else in this country. Thank you for that!

And to post-preface this, I've tried paying for all of the legit services but the blackouts and just plain dropping of live streams is infuriating.

Haha! At halftime I gave up and just watched the Vikings with all my attention. It's not often the Vikes are good and Stillers are bad.

r/steelers probably has good suggestions.

Edit: Also I love the user name. But the DX was a little too expensive at the time, so my family got the SX. Oh well haha.

That's crazy someone knew what my username was! My dad built computers so we upgraded regularly. From 286 up to the Pentium. Ever play F-19 stealth fighter or Sam and Max games? So good!

Listen, you just need to find somebody who will set up their laptop in front of the TV and Skype the games to you. I do it all the time for my friends.

What about using a VPN in the opposing team’s city?

I can't find a VPN provider that is in a city other than LA, NYC, DC, Chicago, Houston. That's exactly what I thought too tho.

The Steelers game today had a large coverage area, check out the TV map and I'm sure you can find a place to VPN into. The ATTSN area map is pretty small but you might be able to watch out of market games with ESPN+

Thanks man. I tried ESPN+ today but nothing doing. Unfortunately I don't qualify for streaming Sunday ticket too unless I get a dish.
