Not-so-fun fact:

Halloween is the deadliest day of the year for people under 18. But it's because they get hit by cars, none of the candy BS.

Edit: if this bothers you (and it should!) It only costs $25 to close your street, and suspend open container laws at the same time!

Back in the 80s I was a small child living in Beechview, and they used to have insane block parties. I was only 4 years old, and I remember people doing keg stands and climbing up the telephone poles and shit.

I vaguely remember a pie fight. And some boobs.

Not sure if that’ll work this year though. Already heard that folks are putting medical marijuana or Drag Queen story hours in their candies. Not gonna be much room for fentanyl, too
