As you may or may not know, Lucy typically closes for the winter months, around this time of year. She confirmed on her Instagram today that she is staying open this winter with help from her daughter. Brave the weather this winter and visit her down in the strip for a banh mi. Her smile alone will warm you up.

You’re missing my point. Using an app to order something vaguely similar to Lucy’s food is just not the same. Even if the food could be duplicated (it won’t), it’s just not the same experience.

My point was to give the lady a space to work that isn't out in the pgh winter weather. So many kitchen spaces are sitting empty rn along Penn & butler.

That's different. I'd certainly like to see her in a restaurant if it made business sense (it probably wouldn't). But that's not a ghost kitchen.

She has marinated grilled chicken bahn mi, always delicious. Sometimes she has spring rolls, Sometimes she gas a noodles dish with a kind of sweet chili sauce. Not sure what that's called, but it's good and very large.
