The gorge trail at Watkins Glen closes after the last weekend in October and doesn't usually open until May. The rim trails are open all year, but for me the gorge trail is the whole point of hiking that park.

Oh yeah! I’d much rather spent time in the rest of that region where there are less crowds anyway.
