Hello, city people. I'm in Mon City, so I don't know good Pitt city spots. I'm taking this girl out tomorrow. And I need a recommendation for a nice restaurant to take her to. Looking for somewhere not in the middle of the city, like maybe South Side or something. And not too damaging to my wallet as I'll be paying. Thanks in advance!

Noodlehead has a more expensive vibe but is pretty cheap. I think their meals are under $10 if I remember right. Cash only, they have an ATM.

This would be my pick too, although they have raised prices recently. It’s now about $12.50 for an entree

There is a Millie’s next door if you want ice cream after dinner. There are also a few bars around there for before/after dinner drinks if that is your thing.

Throw back to when it was that awesome ice cream place that was oddly shut down for giving out loans? The mix-ins were crazy! The vibe was much cooler too.

Always a good call. Cash only BYOB

If you plan on going Monday, you can’t, as they are closed then

Driftwood Oven on Butler makes a great pizza. Tram’s on Penn has great Vietnamese food. Regardless of where you choose, have a fun time.

Love Driftwood, but I would not call them inexpensive.

So good, definitely on the expensive side. Is it still a place to take a date.. I have only goten take out since the plague and didn't see much for seating

Value date, I'd recommend piccolo forno, BYOB saves do much money

Alihan's Mediterranean Cuisine in Downtown is one of the best bang for your buck restaurants. It has some of the best meat in the city, and is inexpensive.

If you are interested in value and decent Italian food my recommendation is the Pleasure Bar in Bloomfield. There is a public parking lot very close to the restaurant.

I can help more if we know about what food your looking for. Asian, Italian, etc?

Honestly anything. We're not picky people. She loves Asian though.

A little closer to you, but still here, I'd suggest Silk Road. (It's called Silk Road Gormet Chinese on Google). Nice looking place good for a date, not super expensive, I've only eaten there a few times (normally I got take out), but they don't seem to be too loud or anything and the food is, imo very good especially the sushi.

Bud murphys in connellsville. Literally don’t think you can find anywhere cheaper.

This isn’t what you’re looking for but for future reference lol
