My fiance and I are eloping in NOLA next year - April 2023.

What are some good businesses to buy/rent his suit/tuxedo in the area? My first instinct was Men's Wearhouse in Monroeville but on second thought it will probably be a terrible experience. I always like to shop small/local if possible.

We would prefer it to be in Pgh or north. But I'm open to all suggestions!

Thanks for your help!

Vestis in Lawrenceville is excellent, and the guy who runs it is incredibly knowledgeable. Its expensive, but everything in the store is very high quality.

No suit advice, but congratulations. I eloped there many years ago. If you haven't booked your trip yet, check the festival schedule. There's a lot of big events in April, including Jazzfest and French Quarter Festival.

Make sure you have a drink at the Erin Rose for good luck!

They are actually both right after our trip! I figured the beginning of April would be better and I got lucky!

We're staying at the Omni Royal near Jackson Square. Our ceremony is going to be under the Tree of Life in Audubon Park.

I've been low key planning this trip for years. Like, since I read a book in 9th grade that was set in Louisiana. I am beside myself with excitement. 🫠

Don’t have a location suggestion, but I would suggest buying over renting. When my friend was getting married it was going to be about $200 to rent a suit and shoes. We ended up getting custom suits made for around $500. A good suit will last a long time and is worth the money

Jack’s Tuxedo. It’s super close to Monroeville. We got my husband & groomsmen tuxes from there for a fraction of what men’s warehouse wanted. They matched our color perfectly.
