Butterwood is cozy and has Victorian kind of vibe. Their cake is also amazing if you haven’t had it. The Abbey also might work for you. Those are the only two places I can think of in Lawrenceville.

These are both great, and not as cozy but defer in the strip of open late and has food/drinks

Does Butterwood have tables to sit and work at a laptop, or just those big armchairs? I haven't been in there for years and can't remember. It is weirdly difficult to find a place to sit and work on a laptop with a beverage after 3ish anywhere in the northeast area of the city. Redhawk in Sharpsburg is perfect, but they close at 3 or 4.

Redstart Roasters is perfect for this and open until 6!

Ooh, thanks! I didn't know that place existed! I haven't been to that part of East Liberty for a long time and there are a ton of new businesses out there I've never been to.

Butterwood does have tables that look like you could work at a laptop at. Not sure about WiFi. I always get my cake to go.

Thanks! Wifi isn't a big deal to me since I can work offline or use my phone as a hotspot. I'll have to go there next time!

I’ve had trouble with a phone signal there and no WiFi
