Prosecutor Michael O'Malley called the sentence appropriate, saying the defendants "attempted to disrupt the foundation of our democracy."
So let's slap them with probation and put them in a prime place to commit more fraud. Wtf.

A poetic sentence, in addition to the fines and the rest, plus charges faced in NY. But I can't say I'd have confidence in known racists registering people to vote

What a fucking joke of a sentence. Stay tuned for more of this bullshit from Republicans.

Not trolling, what were the calls about? I can't find info about them.
GargantuanWitch t1_iyemt0y wrote
They targeted low income and predominantly Black areas and told people that if they voted by mail, the government could use the information on their ballots to arrest them for outstanding warrants, other crimes, or force them into vaccination programs.
They're sorry... that they were caught.

Judge is also a weird election denier, most likely

Also, interestingly, John Sutula defeated James Satola in the 2012 Democratic primary. I wonder how many confused those two names and accidentally voted for the wrong person.

Lmao well this tracks too. The incompetence and failure to hold right wing extremists accountable is a major Democratic Party staple!

There wasn't really any details in what the calls did. Can anyone shed some light?

According to the article, the calls “told people they could be arrested or forced to receive vaccinations based on information they submitted in votes by mail.”

wow, that is straight up moronic.

No. Stop giving these people slaps on the wrist. These fucknuts shouldn't be anywhere near voter registration drives.
