As many others have said, it's a scam, but you should also report it to Venmo/contact customer service. See "payments from strangers" section on their help page.
ETA: You can block them as well, which will block any other incoming transactions/requests from them.

Blocked and issue has been sent to Venmo. Waiting to hear back.
