There are a handful of standards. Chengdu Gourmet has two locations (McKnight Road and Squirrel Hill), Sichuan Gourmet or Yue Bai Wei in Squirrel Hill, Chinatown Inn downtown, Ting's Kitchen off McKnight Road, Jade Grille in Mt. Lebanon, Sesame Inn (a few locations). People will debate which is better---depends on your taste and what you're looking for---but for a decent Chinese place you'll be fine with any of those.

I was going to say, I'm pretty sure I've seen in previous years they're one of the few Chinese places that actually close on Christmas.

Yue Bai Wei is pricy but the portions are huge and great for sharing, great for Christmas dine in. Not even sure they have any Americanized Chinese offerings if that is what OP is looking for.

Everyday Noodles Beef and Beef Tendon noodle soup. Thick noodles, just an extra 3 drops of hot oil. Perfection. I could eat it every day, every meal.
