Hello!

So I go to urban tap a lot - it used to be almost weekly when I lived closer. Their ranch dressing is my favorite and I can’t find an easy dupe at the store - anyone know what recipe (or bottle) they use?

Thanks!

Here is how to make any restaurant dupe: 2 cups mayo (Duke's because is there any other kind?), 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 packets restaurant style hidden valley ranch mix (or one packet regular dressing mix). Add more buttermilk as needed to thin.

Have you tried the Ranch packets from the store, instead of the bottles? You mix it with mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk I think.

Idk the recipe but it’s made in house

Ranch is usually dill, parsley, and garlic powder as the seasoning for ranch. Don't feel like looking up if it also includes onion powder 👀

Lots of restaurants use Ken’s. Pickup a bottle and see if it tastes the same.

I’m shocked to hear this because Ken’s ranch is objectively some of the worst I’ve tasted. Maybe their shelf stable cups that come with Sheetz food are different though?

I think they are different/not as good in those cups, for me personally, Ken's Buttermilk Ranch (in bottles) blows all others out of the water.

Ken’s parmesan peppercorn in the glass bottle is 🔥🔥🔥 if you haven’t tried it.

I might go tonight and see if I can do a quick off-the-top-of-my-head recipe for you.

But if it has the ingredients I think it will have, you’re looking at a minimum of $25 a batch and the batch might last 3-4 days in the fridge.
