I'm convinced "New Years Pretzels" are an imaginary creation of Giant Eagle, to try and sell a thing.

It's a big ass, soft pretzel. Spread with frosting and sprinkles in a non-uniform fashion. It's like if you unleashed my inner baker at 12 years old and I could cook whatever I wanted for a holiday, and Mom and Dad have to smile and pretend to like the monstrosity the kid created.
