Hello yinzers,

Apologies if this post doesn't belong here. I just learned UPMC health insurance has a "active & fit" program, whereby you can get ~50% off for many gyms in town. I've had this insurance for 3+ years and have never heard of the gym discount before! RIP to all the money I spent on climbing gym membership!!

What are some less known benefits of common health insurances that many people may not know about? Fitbits, massages, activity discounts? Please write your hack and the specific insurance so more people can benefit from what they are already paying for.

If you have Aetna, you can use their app Attain which is a fitness tracker where you can get gift cards or they’ll pay for your Apple Watch.

I’ve heard that they are sunsetting the Attain program soon and replacing it with something similar but less rich.
