I ordered a 10 once when I was sick and I heard someone laugh in the background on the phone.

Whenever I go to a Thai place I always ask if they are on a 1-5 or 1-10 because the top level will kill you

I've never been to a Thai or Viet place that would serve westerners a 10, rather say no or lie than give them that fire

I almost never 3rd party food delivery. Ordered dinner tonight and got the wrong food from a different restaurant. I hope whoever got our order enjoys it! We don't eat meat :(

Yeah, these 3rd party apps have started assigning 3+ pick ups per trip for drivers in busy areas like Squirrel Hill.

Unfortunate. Grubhub likely did a stacked order and the driver grabbed the wrong bag at drop off

This is kiin lao, I’ve picked up from here before (and maybe they changed) but they’ve never done driver self pick-up. You normally have to get the order from someone at the counter. Looks like OP said that it wasn’t even the right restaurant, my guess is the driver was assigned multiple orders and messed up and gave him the other customers order.

I have had it happen. When speaking to owners at our favorite place they have had drivers argue over orders and swap right on front of them.
After the owners specifically pointed which was which.

In our experiences over the last year, service has gone downhill. I have used them for a longtime over multiple cities. Something is off in parts of the Pgh area.

KIIN is delicioso! Feels bad for the person who didn’t get it.

Did you call grubhub? We have had it happen three times.

We have dietary restrictions.

Every time it was resolved immediately. We had to reorder but grubhub issues a refund. I think they might even send a $5 coupon code to your email but we never remember to use them. Likely whomever has your meal also called.

The first time was from a location that we order from very often. The owner said he was concerned. He knew multiple drivers got into an argument over which was which and then swapped bags. He said to call grubhub, insist on a full refund. Also the next time we visited them they sent over extras in appreciation for us calling. They don't want blamed for grubhub not being able to deliver correctly.
