Hey guys! I’m taking my girlfriend out for valentine’s day this year and I was wondering what the best, or most romantic, hotel was in downtown. I’ve been doing some research and I thought maybe the Omni William Penn would be my best bet. I saw the casino just opened up a hotel and I was debating on getting a king terrace suite there, or snagging a room at the omni. Let me know what y’all think! I’m open to any and all recommendations.

The William Penn is fancy, but I wouldn’t call the rooms romantic. They are kind of geared towards older folks and business travelers in my opinion. Maybe do drinks in their lobby and stay elsewhere. I stayed at a Landing Hotel in upstate NY and it was nice, but I wouldn’t call it Valentine’s Day romantic by any means. I recommend looking into Hotel Monaco or the Renaissance. I feel like those might be more romantic.

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco. I had a great time there when doing a lil staycation a while back. They even had free happy hour with wine in the afternoon.

Agree, have a drink at the Omni but don't stay there. And do not eat dinner there. It's very disappointing

Agree with the Hotel Monaco! I would also say The Fairmont is romantic too. Great bar on the second floor and good ambience overall.

Never been there myself, but to me it looks like the Drury hotel downtown might be a good option. It looks like they have a nice indoor pool and a hot tub.
